This Privacy Policy explains how Aeromechx Automotive Private Limited, operating under the brand name "Spinoto" ("Spinoto", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Spinoto website, mobile app, and related booking services (together, the "Platform").

This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

• Account details: name, phone number, email address, and password or login credentials.
• Booking details: vehicle type and issue description, service address, preferred time, and any photos or notes you choose to share about the problem.
• Location data: your live or entered location when booking, so we can match you with the nearest available mechanic and provide arrival tracking.
• Payment information: transaction records for bookings, packages, and subscriptions. Card and UPI details are processed directly by our payment gateway partners — Spinoto does not store full card numbers.
• Support communications: messages sent through in-app support, email, or WhatsApp support, including booking-related context shared during those conversations.
• Usage information: basic technical data such as device type, app version, and pages visited, used to keep the Platform working reliably.

• To match your booking with the nearest available verified mechanic and dispatch them to your location.
• To show accurate pricing, process payments, and manage packages or subscriptions.
• To communicate booking confirmations, arrival updates, and support responses.
• To verify mechanic partners and investigate safety, fraud, or misuse reports.
• To improve the reliability, coverage, and usability of the Platform over time.
• To meet legal, tax, and regulatory record-keeping obligations.

When you book a service, we share the details necessary to complete that job — your name, contact number, service address, and issue description — with the mechanic partner or workshop assigned to your booking.

We also share information with service providers who help us run the Platform, such as payment gateways for processing transactions and communication providers (including WhatsApp) for delivering support messages you initiate.

Spinoto does not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect the safety of customers or mechanics, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Location data is used specifically to find nearby mechanics, estimate arrival times, and allow you to track an assigned mechanic during an active booking. You can control location permissions through your device settings; note that declining location access may limit Spinoto's ability to dispatch a mechanic to you accurately.

The Spinoto website uses limited, functional cookies or local storage — for example, to remember basic display preferences — necessary for the site to work as expected. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

We retain booking, payment, and support records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, dispute-resolution, and service-quality requirements. You may request deletion of your account data as described in Section 9, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — such as restricted access to booking and payment systems — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we encourage you to keep your account credentials confidential and to report any suspected unauthorized access immediately.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask how it has been used, by contacting support@spinoto.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

The Platform is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and above, consistent with our Terms & Conditions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
